My wife and I stayed a total of eight nights in Italy in Praiano on the Amalfi Coast, then two nights in Rome and our last night was at Fiumicino Airport Hotel.
I rented a car when we arrived in Italy and drove to the Amalfi Coast and had the vehicle the entire time we were there. I drove into Naples one day and their parking recommendations were right on. We had dinner in the hotel two nights of the five we were there and the food was excellent and the setting, outdoors on the balcony, beautiful. We had a spectacular view from our room. Pleasant restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful experience. Praiano is a little quiet in the evening and taking a walk on the main road an adventure, but part of the flavor.
We had a very early departure flight from Rome back to the States so we got to the hotel late in the after the day before our departure. The hotel is very modern and spotless. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant but it did not open till 7:30 PM, so we had aperitifs out by the pool, which was delightful. We had a lovely dinner in their restaurant which you highly recommended and your recommendation was justified. The hotel did not exchange currency so they arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport at 5:00 AM that would accept credit cards. Again a very nice experience.
We had a great trip and were very pleased with your recommendations. We wanted a more Italian and less touristy experience and we were rewarded by following your recommendations. We would stay at all three of the hotels again and recommend them to friends. We will again heed your advice on future trips to Italy.
We wanted to tell you about our TOP NOTCH experience at Fiumicino Airport Hotel. At the end of our month in Italy we discovered that we had two extra nights, in addition to the one we had booked at Fiumicino Airport Hotel, and we thought we'd head there since we unexpectedly also had to go into Rome to replace stolen passports. With some trepidation we showed up at the hotel and asked if they had space for two additional nights. Well, not only did we get the last room but they put us in the brand new wing which had only been open one week. Our room was spectacular. . .brand new, sleek white, silver, and purple, with a balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel restaurant was everything that In Italy said it was. . .only better. We ate 4 meals there over three days! We spent one leisurely day lounging in the unexpectedly warm November sunlight, one day at Ostia Antica, and one day trekking to the embassy in Rome. Desk personnel gave us advice and a detailed map to get to the embassy. We highly recommend Fiumicino Airport Hotel!

Buon Giorno a Tutti!
We loved the Fiumicino Airport Hotel. We had a very early (6:30 a.m.) flight to Frankfurt on Tuesday, so we got to the hotel around lunchtime on Monday. The hotel's restaurant is fantastic! We then just hung out at the pool for the rest of the day -- a nice and relaxing end to our holiday.
Again, thanks for all your help in planning this trip. Hope to be planning another one soon!

Our trip was wonderful and all three of our accommodations turned out great.
Lerici Seaside Hotel is "the" place to stay in the Cinque Terre area, especially if traveling with children. Much more flexibility than staying in one of the 5 small towns and the beaches were beautiful. The family room with bunk beds was perfect for our family of 4 and we were very lucky to get the room on floor 3 with the extra large patio. That made all the difference in the world and I recommend families seek out the third floor room specifically if possible.
Fiumicino Airport Hotel – once the remodel is finished this will be a great spot. Pool and patio were beautiful with an excellent restaurant. Perfect for a night stay while going in and out of Rome, otherwise stay in heart of Rome to see the sights.
I have recommended your site broadly based on our experience. The customer service was fantastic and you knocked it out of the park with 3 out of 3 recommendations across Italy. Thank you so much!
