Location: In Rapallo, a lively seaside resort town that is 9 km from Portofino and 37 km from Monterosso. The train station and the docks are less than five minutes’ walk from the hotel and you can visit all towns between Genoa and La Spezia using either of these (boats are more limited than the train). Very recently renovated, all the rooms are quite lovely, with excellent top-quality furniture and brand-new carpeting and wallpaper. There are lots of drawers and good closet space. There are some connecting double rooms for four people. The wheelchair-accessible bathroom has a shower with moveable walls that can be a normal stall shower or an accessible one.       Features: Air conditioning, color satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, mini-bar, safe big enough for a laptop. Bathrooms have a bathtub with wall shower and curtain; all have telephone and hair dryer.       Facilities: Elevator; Internet point; fitness room; sauna; hot tub; restaurant open seven days a week; American buffet breakfast; free parking on the street or paid garage parking (16 Euro/night – must be reserved in advance). 18-hole golf club, tennis court and riding stables only five minutes’ drive from the hotel.
