Location: On Via di Porta Pinciana, facing the park, a block from Via Veneto and a 15-minute stroll from the Borghese Galleries. World-class designer shopping is right outside the door, and much more of the same is available a 5-minute walk away, at the Spanish Steps. If you are arriving by car, this location is very easy to reach. It is also only five blocks from the major car rental agencies. Click here to see a map.   Public transportation: The B line subway stops one block away at the top of Via Veneto. This is the subway that goes directly to St. Peter's. Buses also run regularly along Via Boncompagni, just three blocks away.   Rooms: 68, including 49 deluxe doubles, 8 junior suites and 11 suites. All rooms are extravagantly furnished with comfortable antiques. Some suites and junior suites have balconies overlooking the park. Deluxe rooms have two-room baths with two sinks in one room, separate tub and shower and toilet in the other, and walk-in closets. Only deluxe rooms can be interconnecting. Double beds are king-sized; single beds are full-sized. One junior suite with private terrace can be joined to two double rooms for a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom suite. Every room has a private marble-lined bathroom. Non-smoking rooms are available.   Features: All rooms have electronic keys, air-conditioning, two direct-dial telephones, satellite TV and pay TV, safe, mini-bar, luggage rack, desk with personal computer, fax and ISDN Internet line. Suites also have a modem hook-up. Most bathrooms have bathtub with handheld shower and glass door (please tell us if you prefer a stall shower). All have magnifying mirror, hair dryer, terrycloth robe and towels. Some suites have whirlpool tubs.   Facilities: Elevator; fitness center with personal trainer; panoramic restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner on the seventh floor; panoramic cocktail bar (11:30 am-1:30 am); Business center in the lobby and Wi-Fi in the lobby; 24-hour room service (full meals are available in your room 7 am-midnight); babysitting; parking nearby (36-42 Euro/day).
