Car needed: If you are planning to do lots of day trips, you might need a car. But you can stay here and use the bus for touring if you don't mind walking a little bit.

From this beautifully located three-bedroom house, the views extend over the sea and the towns of Minori and Maiori below and the cozy hamlet of Torello on a hillside below Ravello. Situated on the first floor of a larger residence, Casa Torello is just a few yards below Villa Rufolo, one of the great landmarks of Ravello. The accommodation has not been specifically furnished for holiday use, and is essentially a comfortable home. About 200 yards away is a friendly bar, while shops and restaurants in and around the central piazza are a short drive or walk away. Although the house has central heating, the sitting room also has an open fireplace welcoming early and late season visitors.

Measuring 950 square feet, this centrally heated apartment is 18 steps up from the road. Loaded with storage space, it has wireless Internet access throughout, and air-conditioned bedrooms. You enter into a hallway. To the left is a large fully-equipped eat-in kitchen with full freezer/fridge, oven and cooktop, and a door to the terrace. Also in this section are two bathrooms off the hall (one with bathtub, the other with shower and washing machine), a twin-bedded room with skylight (no other windows), and a double bedroom with gorgeous sea views (accessed through the twin room). To the right of the hallway, you find a master bedroom with queen-size bed, as well as a sitting/dining room with cherrywood furnishings, a fireplace and satellite TV. This room and the master bedroom have French doors that open onto the terrace, where you will find sun loungers, and a table and chairs for dining while enjoying the stunning views.

Please note that the twin beds cannot be joined to make one king-size bed.

The center of Ravello is 1 km away or 10 minutes up an outdoor staircase that is conveniently located right next to the house. Here you will find all immediate shops, restaurants, etc. There is also a public swimming pool 100 yards from the house, as well as a bar. Amalfi (nearest beach, boats and hydrofoil to Positano, Sorrento, Capri, Ischia and Napoli) is 5 km, Positano 22 km, Salerno (rail station) 29 km, Sorrento 39 km, Naples Airport 65 km.

Check-in: 3-8pm (arrivals after 8pm or at any time on Sunday are subject to a 50 Euro late fee paid in cash in Italy)
