1. Booking procedure
Bookings can be made directly to Borgo Iesolana or through authorized travel agencies by fully completing the booking form. In both cases the rates quoted are invariable. The booking form must be accompanied by a remittance of 30% of the total. The booking will be reconfirmed to you by return of post.
The minimum period for rentals is 1 week, from Saturday to Saturday. In low season it is possible to stay for a period less than one week, breakfast included in the price (visit price list).
2. Method of payment
The balance must be remitted within and not later than 45 days from the beginning of the rental period. In case of a booking effected during 45 days preceding the beginning of the rental period, the client must remit the total cost. The payment can be made in the following ways:
- by bank transfer to our bank: Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze - Agenzia Bucine, ABI:6160, CAB:71340, Conto n. 4257, SWIFT: CRFI - IT- 3F, IBAN: IT 73S 06160 71340 00000 4257C00 (All bank expenses and commissions are on client side)
- by Visa/Eurocard/Mastercard/Amex Credit cards, indicating the name of the cardholder, the card number and the expiry date.
On receipt of the payment, we will send you a confirmation that should be presented to the owner on arrival at the accommodation, and in addition an itinerary and other useful information.
3. Prices
The total cost includes consumption of hot and cold water, electricity and gas, provision of the both bed and bath linens. The prices do not include the security deposit payable on arrival, nor such services as telephone, heating, mountain bike, domestic help if available or daily cleaning, which costs must be settled on site before departure.
4. Arrival and departure
Clients are respectfully asked to observe the times scheduled for arrival and departure i.e. arrivals Saturday afternoon between 2.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m., departure Saturday morning between 8.00 a.m. and 10.a.m.. In the interests of other clients, these times must be strictly respected.
5. Number of people
The number of people in the chosen accommodation must on no account differ from the details provided in the booking form. Any alteration in the composition of the number of person booked in any given accommodation must be approved in advance by our office. The number of people must on no account exceed the sleeping accommodation laid down in the catalogue. Children under the age of 2 years are exempt from this rule.
6. Security deposit and premature departure
The client, in whose name the accommodation has been booked, is obliged to pay a security deposit on arrival for an amount of 160 Euro for the apartments Il Portici, Il Camino, Il Loggiato, Gli Archi e I Cipressi, 240 Euro for the apartments: Il Belvedere, I lecci e La Tinaia, as a guarantee against any possible damage to property or its equipment and furniture. In accordance with the booking regulations, the owner reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone refusing to pay the aforementioned deposit. The deposit will be reimbursed in full on departure, except in the event of any damage, which, in the event of any damage, which will be debited accordingly. In the event of a client leaving before the scheduled time, if the owner cannot be present, the deposit will be returned by post. In any event, clients who, for whatever reason, have to leave earlier than the pre-arranged departure date, are not entitled to any refund for the remainder of the rental period.
7. Liability
If due to circumstances beyond our contre, we are unable to offer the accommodation booked by the client, we reserve the right to offer an alternative accommodation with similar characteristics, or in extreme cases, to cancel the booking, reimbursing the total amount paid by the client, who may have no further claims.
NOTE: In the event of any controversy, the appropriate authority is the court of Florence
