1. Booking procedure
Bookings can be made directly to Golf Immobiliare Srl or through authorized travel agencies by fully completing the booking form included in the catalogue. In both cases the rates quoted are invariable. The booking form must be accompanied by a remittance of 25% of the total. The booking will be reconfirmed to you by return of post.
2. Method of payment
The balance must be remitted within and not later than 45 days from the beginning of the rental period. In case of cancellation during the 45 days prior to the beginning of the rental period, the client must remit the total cost. The payment can be made in the following ways:
- by cheque or telegraph postal order
- by bank transfer
- by Visa/Eurocard/Mastercard/Amex/Diners credit cards, indicating the name of the cardholder, the card number and the expiration date on the booking form
On receipt of the payment, we will send you a voucher, an itinerary and other useful information. Please make sure to present the voucher to the owner upon arrival.
3. Prices
The total cost includes consumption of water, electricity, gas, and all bed and bath linens. The prices do not include the security deposit, payable on arrival, telephone or heating. Domestic help is available only on request and arrangements must be made prior to arrival.
4. Arrival and departure
Clients are respectfully asked to observe the times scheduled for arrival and departure i.e. arrivals Saturday afternoon between 5.00 pm and 8.00 pm, departure Saturday morning between 8.00 am and 10.00 am. In the interest of other clints, these times must be strictly respected.
5. Number of people
The number of people in the chosen accommodation must on no account differ from the ditails provided in the booking form. Any alteration in the composition of the number of people booked in any given accommodation must be approved in advance by our office. The number of people must on no account exceed the sleeping accommodation laid down in the catalogue. Children under the age of 2 years are exempt from this rule.
6. Security deposit and premature departure
The client, in whose name the accommodation has been booked, is obliged to pay a security deposit on arrival, as a guarantee against any possible damage to the property or its equipment and furniture. In accordance with the booking regulations, the owner reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone refusing to pay the aforementioned deposit. The deposit will be reimbursed in full on departure except in the event of any damages which will be deducted accordingly. In the event of a client leaving before the scheduled time, if the owner cannot be present, the deposit will be returned by post. In the event and for whatever reason, clients must leave earlier than the prearranged departure date, no refund for the remainder of the rental period will be given.
7. Liability
If due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to offer the accommodation booked by the client, we reserve the right to offer an alternative accommodation with similar characteristics, or in extreme cases, to cancel the booking, reimbursing the total amount paid by the client, who may have no further claims.
NOTE: In the event of any controversy, the appropriate authority is the court of Florence.
8. Cancellations
If a client, for whatever reason, has to cancel a booking, he will have the right to the refund of the paid amount, after deducting the booking charges and the following penalties:
- 10 % of the total booking price if the cancellation occurs from the first day after the booking has been made until 46 days prior to the beginning of the rental period
- 30% for cancellations occurring between the 45th and the 29th days prior to the beginning of the rental period
- 45% for cancellations occurring between the 28th and the 15th days prior to the beginning of the rental period
- 60% for cancellations occurring between the 14th and the 8th days prior to the beginning of the rental period
- 90% for cancellations occurring from the 7th day onwards.
