Dear Kristin,
Hi, we had a fabulous time, loved every minute of our trip. Everything went smoothly with all the hotels and car rentals. We really enjoyed Paradiso nel Chianti and would go back there in a heartbeat! Sandro at the front desk there was especially helpful and directed us to some great restaurants and villages: San Gusme was a quaint charming small gem of a medieval town, close by and worth a visit. We had a lovely and romantic dinner there at La Porta Del Chianti, and enjoyed the very special ambiance of the town.
We loved the pizza and chicken at the Drunken Rooster in Gaiole, can't remember the name in Italian. I'll try to find the card. The prices were great, food excellent, owner kind and charming! He did recommend that Da Antonio in Castelnuovo Berardenga get removed from your list. He felt it was no good now, and instead recommended Osteria Bengodi in that town. He said the best pizza for miles around was found at Pomodoro in Ponticino, but we never made it there.
Our favorite restaurant in Venice was A Beccafico near the Accademia bridge. No coperta and excellant food plus they give you their house dessert wine at the end of the meal for free.
Hotel delle Nazioni was great, perfect locatation, very comfortable and cool rooms, it was hot in Rome! We enjoyed really good homemade food at La Taverna dei Fori Imperiali near the Forum, great value and friendly service. The only bad thing that happened was I had a jacket and a pair of pants stolen out of my suitcase either on the Easy Jet flight from Paris to Venice or at the Hotel Beacci Tornabuoni, I am hoping it was on the plane. They were all very nice at the hotel Beacci.
I have referred one of my clients to you for his Italy trip and you may be hearing form him! Thanks again for everything and I will look forward to another trip hopefully soon to Italy!

Dear Jessica,
Our trip was marvelous and we have already recommended your website to many! At the beginning, we were so overwhelmed by all the possibilities. You broke it down into bite-sized pieces for us and made it easy to plan. Every single hotel we went to was delightful as were the people behind the desks. They were friendly informative and helpful, and did everything they could to make our trip easier. The locations of each of the hotels were very well situated. Navigating each area was easy from each location. The breakfasts that were included were well done.
The tours, though expensive, were great. Each tour guide was well informed and personable and we are glad we did that. With a limited amount of time, I think it's important to have someone point out the vital interesting things.
We particularly liked Sandro (and Gigliola) at Paradiso Nel Chianti....every day, he gave us a planned itinerary and even recommended a great place in Florence (Il Latini--which we would recommend to any one....SO fun and good food...you really dont have to make a reservation...just show up at 7:30 with the crowd and they let you in one group at a time...not sure our reservation helped ;-). Also the restaurant at the Villa was fabulous and we did not even know there was one...so that was a nice surprise...loved the chef, too.
The pre-reserved tickets through your website for the Uffizi and the Accademia in Florence were a life saver.... geeeeeez, the lines are crazy (and it was hot!!). AND since we started and stopped our water tour with Elena in Venice at St Marks Square, she was able to get us into St Marks without having to wait in line as well...which is a great bonus, even though it wasn't part of the tour.
We went to Siena the day after the Palio which worked out great since they were still cleaning up the square and there was still a festive atmosphere.
Your responses to us were timely and thoughtful and gave us wonderful memories...we hope to go back....we'd love to spend more time in Tuscany and Venice in particular. We really could not have done this trip without you. Thanks.
Marianne C.Jessica,
Our trip to Italy was amazing and thanks to Initaly.com, we stayed in great hotels and had some great tips to help us get the most out of our stay!
Our favorite hotel all around was Paradiso nel Chianti in Gaiole in Chanti. The hosts there were extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel at home during our stay. The room was spacious, clean and furnished with antiques. If it had been summertime, we definitely would have enjoyed the great pool on the grounds. They even set up a table on the patio with champagne and snacks on our first night when they heard we were on our honeymoon. This was a great location to visit the heart of the Chanti region: Rada, Greve, Castelina and Gaiole.
Our experience of Tuscany was one we will never forget. We enjoyed the countryside and all the little towns we visited along the way--all with their own unique character, people and charm. Thank you Initaly.com for helping to make our trip so wonderful!

Dear Julie,
Paradiso -- LOVED it. Perfect location (our favorite part of Chianti Classico), set back, super-friendly, small, nice...
We have a ton of favorites (restaurants, towns, enotechas, wineries) from our two trips...it will take a while to organize thoughts...

Dear Jessica,
Italy was indeed fabulous. I think we fell in love with Tuscany, as do so many. The Paradiso nel Chianti was charming, and the staff did a great job of taking care of us. In was unexpectedly rural and quiet, with beautiful sunsets and stars at night.
Thanks for your help

Hi,
It was a great trip and thanks very much for helping us plan it! We were a little nervous since we'd never relied quite so much on a web service to plan a vacation but everything went incredibly well. I would not hesitate to recommend your services to someone planning a trip to Italy. A few specifics -
Paradiso nel Chianti - Very nice spot, great for excursions, communication somewhat difficult as no one really spoke any English.
Car rental - Driving was great, glad I went with at least an Alfa Romeo.
Highlights -
Cinqueterre - A must see and maybe the best day of our trip.
Artworks - We returned with 5 paintings, several prints, 2 venetian masks, and a few items from the Murano glassworks. I don't know if you mention it anywhere on your website, but Italy is an absolutely fantastic place to get very nice art at reasonable prices.
Thanks again...Ian M.
