Dear In Italy,
We had a great time. Weather was a little cool and wet, but overall the trip was the best. We stayed at Villa Belleviste di Firenze. It was the greatest. Alexandra was a great hostess. The villa was beautiful, clean, quiet, everything we wanted. Alexandra was very helpful with any request we had.
But the trip was great and I will use initaly again on our next trip.

Jessica,
Thanks for the e-mail, and follow-up. We had a wonderful time. What a fantastic property, overlooking Florence. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Overall, we had a great time. Thanks for the assistance in coordinating the trip.

Dear Cynthia,
We had a wonderful time at Belleviste. It exceeded the expectations of the whole family. The house is beautiful and the view from the terrace breathtaking. The whole hosting family could not have been more gracious and helpful.
Best regards,
Ana A.
Hello,
My wife and I stayed 3 nights last week and it seemed like heaven on earth. Such a beautiful spot, with fabulous views over Firenze. We were made to feel very welcome, and were fortunate to be the only guests during our stay. Sandra (my wife) bonded with Alexandra's daughter Steffi, aged 10 years, as she was fascinated with Sandra's artistic abilities (she did so many still life pictures, that she could have endowed a permanent exhibition). The breakfasts were the best I have ever had in Italy (admittedly not renowned for its breakfasts), but were a feast to set you up for the day, and nothing was too much trouble, with Alexandra even providing us with the necessary bus tickets to get into the centre of Firenze. This was our first trip to this magnificent city, and sensibly we did not try to cram too much sightseeing into the short time available. The upside, of course, is that we shall have to revisit, and our plan is to go again next Spring!!

Dear In Italy,
Villa Belleviste di Firenze was wonderful. We spent hours trying to find this spot and finally had to take advantage of the local UPS courier's offer to guide us but when we arrived we couldn't believe our luck. The view of Florence has to be seen to be believed. Alexandra, the manager, quickly got us settled and made us feel at home with wine and a bottomless dish of local olives. Ask for Room 3 which is actually a small suite. Breakfast on the terrace was another treat (linens, china, flatware wonderful). Shirts sent for laundry returned infused with lavender.
We highly recommend a local restaurant named Bibe (sorry lost the address).
Thanks for all of your help
Lloyd S.
Dear In Italy,
In Florence, we would like to suggest Trattoria Bibe, outside of Scandicci, especially if you are staying at Villa Belleviste di Firenze. It was a beautiful country house/manor, great people, both staff and other guests.
One of the best meals we had on the enitre trip was a place that we stopped in after running to pisa. It was right in front of the park, and was only marked pizzeria. A great surprise.

Dear Cynthia,
Villa Belleviste di Firenze provided the highlight of our stay. The location is excellent and the accommodations are top of the line. The host and hostess are gracious and extremely accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again. The view from this villa is incredible - indeed, the entire city of Florence lies below. Alexandra and Roberto went out of their way to ensure our needs were met and that we were enjoying our day trips into Florence, the Chianti region, and thereabout - all of which this villa is very convenient to. The public rooms at Villa Belleviste di Firenze are warm and inviting. Much like an old country inn. Beautiful fireplaces and cozy sitting areas. Truly, the best place we have stayed at in recent - and long-term - memory. Villa Belleviste di Firenze is a jewel in the Tuscany Countryside. Near Florence, yet up in the hill country. Roberto and Alexandria will be harvesting their olives on Nov. 11 & 12. - Would have loved to see this. With only three rooms, Villa Belleviste di Firenze books up. Worth it to plan a stay here. What atmosphere! Thanks, In Italy, for identifying this incredible place and taking care of our arrangements here. Inside Villa Belleviste di Firenze, the owners have a guest book. In thumbing through this multi-year book, I found entry after entry of satisfied customers. Majority of guests appear to be German, which Alexandra speaks (along with Italian and English). Roberto speaks Italian and is fairly adept at English. Other staff on site speak Italian and German. A lovely villa and an absolutely wonderful way to cap our visit to Italy. Thank you!

To Jacqueline,
Last Saturday we returned from Italy.
The first week we stayed at Villa Belleviste di Firenze. What a great place as a base for day-trips in Tuscany. The house has been very lovingly restored and is perfect for a B&B. Beautiful, aristocratic Alexandra was a perfect hostess. She and her staff made us feel at home. Everything is perfect.
The rental car from Eurocar also gets high marks. We had a Renault Megane Scenic. This is a new 5-passenger vehicle, which the manufacturer is currently advertising all over the place. It is roomy, runs on Diesel, which is the least expensive fuel in Italy and has amazing pick-up, even in 5th gear. The mileage was an unbelievable 50 miles per gallon!
Now, if only the weather had been a little bit better, everything would have been perfect. Thanks for the opportunity to book through you.
