To get here you turn onto a winding farm road, climbing up the hill past vineyards and orchards until you have left every vestige of the 20th century far behind. Your charming young hostess Alexandra, whose family has owned this estate for generations, will greet you and show you the many public rooms she has created for your relaxation. The totally non-smoking and pet-free house offers fireplaces galore, comfortable easy chairs, Oriental rugs and ceilings of arched brickwork or massive wood beams. Breakfast is served in the cozy dining room in front of the ancient stone hearth, and in the afternoon she serves British tea or a choice selection of cocktails.
At Belleviste you'll stay in one of only five rooms, each with its own character.

Although it is worlds away from the bustle of the city, Belleviste makes a great
base for day trips into Florence. Also nearby are the vineyards and hills of Chianti, waiting to be explored
on foot, by car or by bicycle. Or just relax with a good book on the vast silent lawn or by the panoramic
swimming pool.
