You are not likely to forget the stunning San Rocco apartment. Occupying the second and third floors of a small palazzo very near the Church of the Frari, it has typical Venetian terrazzo marble floors, wooden casement ceilings and lots of large windows that make every room bright throughout the year. You enter into the living and dining room, which have ample seating and eating arrangements for six people. Next door is the charming state-of-the-art eat-in kitchen, with a full fridge/freezer, oven and burners, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, meat slicer, coffee pot and plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Also on this level are a master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom with shower.

The spacious apartment has ample room for five guests. On the second level, reached via an open stairway, there is a double bedroom with a romantic cathedral ceiling, plus a single bedroom. They share a bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Closet space abounds throughout, and excellent quality linens are supplied for bed and bath.

Befitting its genteel appearance, the San Rocco apartment is in one of the best neighborhoods in town. Right down the street is the School whence it takes its name, and the Grand Canal is just as close. Food shops, boutiques, artisans' workshops abound, and you'll surely want to become a regular at one of the cafes on Campo Santa Margherita, where the Venetians go for breakfast or a late-night espresso.
