The Amalfi Coast is one of the most famous tourist destinations on earth, and rightly so! The vistas are as unforgettable as the curving coastal road, the villages are darling, and the nightlife is legendary. All of this is within close proximity of Sorrento, but if you are also looking to experience the authentic atmosphere of a picturesque fishing harbor, or if you'd rather leave the driving to someone else, then this property is the perfect choice. Away from the crowds that can fill the streets here, it is nonetheless close to all public transportation, so you can use the bus to explore Amalfi, Positano and Ravello, or stroll through an enchanting leafy neighborhood to the train station for a visit to Pompeii, or to the dock for a visit to Capri and Ischia. After your sightseeing, come home to the sights, sounds and smells of a little enclave that has hardly changed in 300 years. Gaily painted fishing boats draw up to a strand that is lined with old-fashioned homes, where laundry flutters at the windows, strings of peppers and baby tomatoes dangle from the balconies, and urchins kick a soccer ball just below. The narrow alleys are lined with gardens and small everyday shops. Three restaurants -- patronized by locals and visitors alike -- occupy wharves that hover right over the sea. Everybody congregates to watch as the sun sets and the lights of Naples pop on across the bay. Things are much the same as they've been for centuries, and you can be a part of it if you opt to stay in one of these apartments.

To get to this magical place, you will follow your host through a leafy residential neighborhood to a newly renovated palazzo overlooking the darling marina below, the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. Once inside, you will occupy one of eight apartments, each furnished with simple but new pieces, featuring tile floors and big picture windows or balconies overlooking the view. Each apartment has air conditioning, satellite TV and telephone. There are four types of apartment. Capri is perfect for a couple or family with one child: it has a living room with sleep sofa, dining area and kitchenette, a bedroom with king or twin beds, and a bathroom with stall shower. Procida has a living room with twin sleep sofas, dining area and kitchenette, a hall bathroom with tub, and a bedroom with king or twin beds and en suite bathroom with stall shower. Ischia has a living room with two twin sleep sofas (making four single beds), dining area and kitchenette, a hall bathroom with tub, and a bedroom with king or twin beds and en suite bathroom with stall shower. Amalfi is the largest, featuring a living room with two twin sleep sofas (making four single beds), dining area and kitchenette, a hall bathroom with tub, and two bedrooms each offering one king or two single beds and en suite bathroom with stall shower. During your stay, you may use the panoramic swimming pool and huge, state-of-the-art fitness club at the owner's hotel (about 1.2km from the apartments)..
