In a 16th-century building in one of central Naples' prettiest spots, 300 yards from Museo Metro Station. The 50 uniquely decorated rooms are spotless and very comfy, combining modern design and artistic elements, including original paintings by local artist Alessandro Cocchia. They have been completely modernized and come with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, wooden floors and very good bathrooms. Some also have a balcony. Although the location is within close walking distance to everything, the rooms are quiet. A very good buffet breakfast is served, and there is free WiFi on the ground floor. Grand Hotel Oriente

One of the best family values in Italy, thanks to its huge rooms, caring staff, and superb central location close to all sites and transportation. If you are looking for a small intimate B&B, this is not it, but if service and space are your priorities, along with a bargain price, then we highly recommend this 4-star hotel. The 131 rooms are not sleek or opulent, but they are the largest in town, and they offer all amenities including air conditioning, free Wifi, satellite TV, and big modern bathrooms. The rooms are freshly renovated and decorated in an eclectic style that fits well to the 16th-century architecture of the building.
