A renovated 13th-century building in the historic center of Florence, with views over the Palazzo Vecchio and straw market. The beds are excellent and amenities are fresh and clean. Breakfast is not included, but it is just a few steps from typical Florentine cafes where you can buy breakfast, and the relais makes light refreshments of tea, coffee and homemade cakes available throughout the day, along with free use of a microwave, conventional oven, kettle and coffee maker. It has excellent bus links to all the sites. The four modern guest rooms are simple yet elegant, spotless and large, each with antique furniture, a seating area, access to the patio, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, an LCD TV and a private bathroom. There are contemporary works of art in the breakfast room, and drinks are available from the vending machines.
