In Italy Online is owned and operated by In Italy Online, acting as booking agents for the tour operators in Italy.

PAYMENT: Non-refundable total payment is required to secure a booking. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form and payment. No service can be confirmed until we receive your written confirmation by email or fax, along with your payment information. No deposit or payment is processed until your participation has been confirmed.

TOUR DOCUMENTS: Upon confirmation of the tour or service, In Italy Online will email or fax you a voucher and any necessary instructions you will need (how to find the meeting place, etc.). We also provide a local contact you can use in case of emergencies.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: All payments are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-applicable, so travel insurance is available at extra cost and is highly recommended. Click here for pricing and details about Travel Insurance.

CANCELLATIONS BY US: In the very unlikely event that the tour or service is canceled by the tour operators, In Italy Online will issue you a full refund of the net amount.

CHANGES: Where, due to operational difficulties or reasons beyond their control (travel conditions, strikes, changes in opening hours, closure of museums, delays or other problems), the tour organizers are obliged to change the program, then an alternative itinerary and/or visits to other museums will be proposed, without any variation to the established price, and the client will be informed prior to departure. In the case of unexpected increases of individual prices exceeding 10%, as a result of new taxes or duties, the prices will be adjusted and the clients notified in writing.

REIMBURSEMENT: No reimbursement will be granted to any client who is not at the place of departure at the time established; similarly, no reimbursement will be granted to clients who lose contact with the guide or who do not complete the tour. If for any reason the organization cancels the tour, the client may claim reimbursement only of the sum paid.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: It is the responsibility of each tour participant to obtain and carry a valid passport, visa(s), and any other documents required by applicable government regulations. Non US residents may require special travel documents. Check with your local embassy or consulate.

INSURANCE: The tours are covered by third-party insurance for the risks, the indemnity limits and the guarantees laid down in D.L. 111/95 with NAVALE policy N. 00100081353.

RESPONSIBILITY: You are responsible for reading all pre-trip materials and informing us of any medical or dietary restrictions. In Italy Online reserves the right to decline or withhold service to any person who, for physical or other reasons, is deemed unfit for the trip. In Italy Online is not responsible for cancellations or amendments due to acts of nature, civil unrest or inclement weather. In Italy Online is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of your personal belongings. In Italy Online and its representatives act only in the capacity of a booking agent of all land transportation, sightseeing, tour operators and hotels that provide services included in the specified tour. The individual tour or service participant agrees that In Italy Online and its representatives shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to any act of default of hotel, air/land transportation carrier, restaurant supplier or other contractor rendering or providing services. In Italy Online and its representatives shall not be responsible for any expense or liability resulting from labor disputes, war, acts of terrorism, government restraints, weather conditions, sickness, pilferage or any other cause beyond their control. In Italy Online and its representatives reserve the right to accept, or to retain or refuse any person as a participant of any tour or to cancel any program of a tour if circumstances so demand. Although it is extremely unlikely, In Italy Online and the tour operators reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason (including insufficient number of participants) or to change itineraries and/or substitute services or hotels of equal quality without prior notification. Any complaint by the client must be communicated in writing to the organization staff within and no later than 10 business days after the date of the tour.

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT RELEASE AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK

Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of In Italy Online providing services to enable me to participate in one of the programs for which it acts as a booking agent, I agree as follows:

I fully understand and acknowledge that travel activities have: (a) inherent risks, dangers and hazards and such exists in my participation in activities purchased through In Italy Online; (b) my participation in such activities may result in injury or illness; (c) these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the owners, employees, officers or agents of In Italy Online, the negligence of the participants, the negligence of others, accidents, breaches of contract, the forces of nature or other causes; and (d) by my participation in these activities, I hereby assume all risks and dangers and all responsibility for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of the owners, agents, officers, or employees of In Italy Online, or by any other person.

I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify In Italy Online and its agents, officers and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my participation in activities purchased through In Italy Online
