Pisa Airport Hotel

More and more airplanes are now landing in Pisa, including countless low-cost carriers from Europe and even a non-stop flight from the USA. It's a great choice, because Pisa is strategically located on the coast between Genoa and Rome, not too far from Florence and even closer to the Cinque Terre and Siena. This brand new hotel is right off the autostrada, making it an ideal location for your first or last night in Italy. Rooms are large and sunny and very quiet, thanks to soundproof windows. Almost all have carpet but a few have parquet floors. All have a desk and chair, and private bathroom. Triple rooms have a trundle bed plus queen bed, or two twin beds and a rollaway. Junior suites are on the top floor and can easily accommodate up to four people; they have a whirlpool tub in the bathroom. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are also very large and have oversized bathrooms. Non-smoking rooms are available.             Features: Air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, pay TV, direct-dial telephone, mini-bar, safe big enough for a laptop, wireless or DSL Internet connection. Bathrooms are lined in marble and have a stall shower plus hair dryer.             Facilities: Elevator; fitness room with three machines and TV; good American buffet breakfast; excellent restaurant with Tuscan cuisine, international specialties and selections for Celiacs; free outdoor parking; complimentary shuttle to the airport and downtown once an hour 6:30-11:30am and 4:30-7:30pm and 11:00pm-1:00am (you must call from the airport to ask the shuttle to come get you - at all other times, a taxi costs about 10 Euro).
