The owners of this brand new boutique hotel had a whale of a time decorating it. They started with a clean slate, covering all the floors in pure white marble and whitewashing the walls and ceilings. Then they chose a color for each of the four floors. Traditionalists will want to choose the White Floor. Hipsters will probably prefer the Black Floor, with its eccentric black chandeliers, black-and-white headboards and reinterpreted classic furniture. Everyone else can take potluck on the Op Art Floors, where you'll find green or blue or red or orange accents. Whichever you pick, you are bound to be tickled by the pop-art posters, 1950s light fixtures, colorful decor and countless whimsical details that make this a one-of-a-kind hotel, small enough to treat you like family and yet sophisticated enough to offer every amenity you could desire. |

| Public Transportation: |
The very best location we know for staying in the Amalfi Coast area without a car. There is a public bus that goes to Piazza Tasso (purchase your tickets at any tobacco shop), or you can walk 5 minutes to the Circumvesuviana commuter train, which goes to Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum. Right down the hill are the Sorrento docks, where you can get the hydrofoil to Naples, all points on the Amalfi Coast, and Capri. |

11 rooms on four floors, including one single, doubles, triples, and quads. All the rooms are especially large, bright and sunny. Every room has one queen bed or two twin beds, and most rooms also have one or two excellent single sleep sofas. There is one combination single room + double room + two bathrooms. Each room has an ultra-modern bathroom with stall shower or bathtub. One very special Black Room has a bathroom under the eaves with a panoramic tub. All the rooms are non-smoking. |
