Hi there,
I stayed at Hotel San Zulian in Venice. This was one of my favorite hotels in Italy. Really loved this place. Very clean hotel in perfect location. Rooms were surprisingly spacious and service was excellent. I would seek this place out on future trips to Italy and strongly recommend it to others.
I would also strongly recommend initaly.com to others. Your website was full of great information and I think that the hotels that you recommend are top notch.

Dear In Italy,
The hotel is in a good location, central to San Marco sites. Our rooms had a great rooftop view. However, we would not stay in that hotel again. One front desk person was very nice and helpful, the others not so. They don't turn the air conditioning on until June 1 even though it was warm, rainy and humid. When I called the first night to ask if my air conditioner was working, I was informed that they are not useable until after June 1 and also, "someone had just called to ask for extra blankets". I felt the comment uncalled for and I know nobody with a sound mind would have wanted blankets. We were told we could leave the windows open, which we did. We were all bitten 6-10 times a night by mosquitoes. This being our 3rd time in Venice it was unanimous that it was our last. And we weren't even in the height of the season for tourists. Our feeling is everything is overpriced. It was sad that everyone thought Disneyland was a better value. We have stayed at Hotel San Zulian and at the Bauer where we had lunch one day on the Grand Canal with their fabulous view. Staying at the Bauer this time wouldn't have changed our minds about Venice as a whole. We feel everyone who can should experience Venice. However, after that, there are much better places in Italy to spend your time.
Thanks, Jessica. You asked for feedback, you got a bundle. You have a great site that is very useful.

Dear In Italy,
The San Zulian was in a great location half way between the Realto and St. Mark's Square. We took your advice and took a water taxi to and from the hotel. Otherwise, it would have been a difficult time getting to and finding the hotel. Our room was a little small, and shower was really tiny, especially if you dropped the soap. But it was very clean, and the staff was excellent.
Thanks again for all the great arrangements you made for us. Next time we plan to go to the southern part of Italy and will certainly be using your expertise at that time.
Yours truly,
Michael C.
Kristin:
We are back from a wonderful trip, many thanks to you! The Hotel Zulian in Venice was perfect. The location was ideal and the accommodations were great. Our room was nicely appointed and impeccably maintained! We highly recommended this hotel. Also, for those traveling to Venice we do recommend taking a private water taxi. The rate was reasonable, we arrived in 20 minutes, and we were dropped off close to the hotel. In Siena the Apartment was a disappointment. The apartment itself was quite nice. However, we were on the top floor. Bringing suitcases up 4 floors was unbearable! The location of this unit is much better suited to a younger group with less luggage! Also, there was only 1 bathroom in the apartment and with 4 woman this would not work. However, upon calling our local representative, which we understand called you, an alternative apartment was located for us that was fabulous! I can't tell you how impressed we were with the prompt and professional manner in which you handled our call. All it took was one call (no questions asked) and within one hour we were picked up by a taxi and taken to a beautiful apartment in the best location of Siena. Anna and Franco were there to meet us when we arrived. They helped us with our luggage and treated us as family. The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated and well-appointed with everything you could ask for. This was our third trip to Italy, all of which, arranged by you. Each time it just gets better! Thanks again and we hopefully will be back next year.
Ciao!

Dear Julie,
Thank you for your help in booking my reservations at the Hotel San Zulian. I stayed there three years ago, and this stay was little different. The first floor has been renovated, and the modern decor feels clean to the point of sterile, but lacking the organic, antique, decorated sense delivered by most of Venice. The room was just as the one I previously stayed in - clean, comfortable, ornately decorated, and with a window on the street that allowed one the morning feel of awakening over a city from several centuries ago.I highly recommend the Hotel San Zulian (as I would have before) to anyone seeking moderately priced excellent accommodations.
And thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Ernst
Dear In Italy,
San Zulian was terrific-petite size rooms but very nicely appointed. Staff was very helpful and the location was perfect-1 minute to St. Marks square.

Dear Cynthia,
The San Zulian was a wonderful hotel, once we found it (but that was part of the thrill), near those beautiful bells, and the staff was very pleasant and efficient. Around the corner near San Marco, we heard an octet in concert play Vivaldi-one of those precious moments. Thank you very much, all went very smoothly.
