Advantages: Good location for visiting any site in the eastern half of Sicily, authentic family-managed property, very economical and atmospheric restaurant.
Disadvantages: Owners are friendly but speak very little English.
Car needed: Yes. The bus that goes to Catania, Mt. Etna and Caltagirone stops 200 yards from the property, but it is a local bus with infrequent service, so we recommend you use it as an adjunct to a car.
