Gaeta Seaside Hotel

Character: Nothing fancy, but pretty, sunny and clean guestrooms, and because many of them have kitchenettes, it's great for families.
Location: In the ancient part of Gaeta, on the coast about 90 minutes south of Rome. Gaeta is a charming off-the-beaten path town, near Circeo and the little "Greek fishing village" called Sperlonga. There is a Nato naval base across the street from the hotel. Click here to see a map.
Size: 29 rooms, including singles, doubles, junior suites and suites.
Features: Satellite TV, air conditioning and direct-dial telephone. Some rooms have private terraces. Each of the junior suites has a double bed, two single sleep sofas, kitchenette and bathroom with shower. The suites have a separate bedroom and living room with double sleep sofa and kitchenette. There is an elevator, pizzeria, bar and restaurant, as well as an Internet point in the lobby, a laundry service and special discounts at nearby beach establishments and tennis courts. Price includes breakfast.
Price range: From 61.50 EURO/night. To see specific prices for the dates of your stay, please click here.
Minimum stay: Two nights.
Advantages: Great for NATO families; right in town so you can walk to restaurants and sites.
Disadvantages: There is no train station in Gaeta (you have to take a bus from Formia); rooms on the front may be noisy if you sleep with open windows.
Car needed: No, but it is strongly recommended.
