young owners is American and lives on the property.
Location: In the hills 6km southwest of Bellagio and 23 km from Como town. A tiny hamlet with a store

Size: Three double rooms and one apartment for a maximum total of 9 people. Each room has its own
ultra-modern bathroom; all except one have lake views. The apartment and one room are on a separate floor
and provide total privacy for a group of 4 or 5 people.
Features: Air conditioning, all rooms non-smoking, minibar, coffee and teamaking supplies, wireless
Internet; satellite TV in the apartment.

Minimum stay: Two nights for rooms; three nights for the apartment.
Advantages: Very authentic, quiet and panoramic, and extremely affordable for Lake Como.
Disadvantages: No elevator (it is a few steps up to the rooms); the access road is steep; breakfast
is not included (but a full buffet breakfast is available down the hill).
Car needed: A car is not mandatory but if you do not have one you should be prepared to walk up the
steep road, as taxis are hard to find. |
