Anyone who has stayed in any European metropolis knows how rare a combination that is! As if that weren't enough, Rome adds her own magic to the equation: step out your front door, turn left and wander through a warren of Renaissance streets unknown to most tourists; or turn right, walk five minutes and you'll find yourself tossing a coin into Trevi Fountain; or your third option, walk straight and in less than 10 minutes you're at the Forum. See what we mean about "centrally located"? And yet even here, you have the option of strolling off-the-beaten path on narrow streets trod mainly by locals and by students at the nearby Università della Sapienza, one of the world's oldest institutes of higher learning.

So, you ask, what happens when you step inside the front door? Well, after you take the elevator up to the third floor (Italian), you will climb a short flight of stairs and step into a foyer lined with closets, opening onto the spacious, sunny living room of your apartment, furnished with a full-size sleep sofa just perfect for one adult, plus a couple of armchairs for watching the flat-screen satellite TV; nearby is a separate dining area with table and chairs. A door leads to the separate kitchen which is tiny but brand new and sparkling clean. Here you'll find a fridge, microwave and dishwasher, making it possible to prepare light meals now and then. Also off the living room is the gorgeous bedroom, where a true king bed that cannot be divided is positioned perfectly to enjoy unforgettable views of the Presidential Palace. Off the hall is a nook with a washing machine, and last but not least, the ultra-modern bathroom with oversized stall shower. The bedroom, living room and dining room have beautiful parquet floors and independent air conditioning, making this an ideal base no matter what time of year you come to Rome. And should your party be larger, there is a beautiful terrace apartment for 4+1 right across the landing!
