This large apartment is as sunny as it is quiet, thanks to its location on the fifth floor of an elevator building. Add that it is on a narrow side street used infrequently by cars, and the result is as tranquil a spot as one can find smack in the center of a major metropolis. And yes, you could hardly get a better address than this one for visiting Rome. Only one block from Via del Corso, a very quick stroll to the Spanish Steps, fifteen minutes to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, and right across the river from St. Peter's, it is ideal for seeing as much as humanly possible in this fascinating city. And since the apartment is ideal for a family, you might also be thrilled to know Rome's beautiful park, Villa Borghese, is just three blocks from your front door.
When you step off the elevator and into your non-smoking apartment, you will feel that you have come home, thanks to the many personal touches, warm tones, soft fabrics and comfortable furnishings. Tall ceilings, large windows and wood parquet floors immediately establish an atmosphere of relaxation. The spacious living room has plenty of seating, where you can chat, watch satellite TV, listen to music on the CD player, or check your email using the wireless connection. The sofa here opens up to sleep two people, and in another part of the room is a dining table for eight.
Whether you decide to try your hand at producing a full-fledged Roman meal, or just snacks of local cheeses, cold cuts and wine, you'll find everything you need in the ultra-modern kitchen. Dishes, pots, pans and cutlery fill the cupboards, next to a full freezer/fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and American coffee pot. A washing machine completes this room.
Next to the kitchen, at one end of the hall, is the master bedroom, featuring ample closets, a queen bed, and en suite bathroom with stall shower. Halfway down the hall is the big shared bathroom, with a whirlpool bathtub and stall shower. At the other end of the hall are two more bedrooms which each offer plenty of storage and two twin beds or one queen bed. All in all, a great base for your Roman holiday, and one your family is sure to remember!
