We do not even dare imagine what it would cost to buy this apartment -- but no matter: if you can afford to go on holiday, you can afford the luxury of staying in this very special home in Rome's most glamorous neighborhood. You will be within walking distance of almost everything in town (and all the other sites are reached via the subway that stops four blocks away), you will be literally around the corner from the famed Dolce Vita nightlife so beloved of celebrities from around the globe, and -- oh yes, even the Jet Set have to eat, so there is a supermarket conveniently located less than 150 yards from your front door. If your group consists of two couples and two singles, or a family with four children of any age, then you could not find a more ideal base for your own memorable Roman Holiday.

After you have entered the very impressive ground-floor lobby of this palazzo, you'll take the elevator up to the fifth floor and step into the living room, which is not big, but has a full-sized sofa, room for several chairs, and a big bookcase with satellite TV. Next to it is the sunny formal dining room, and beyond that is the small but modern kitchen, equipped with a full fridge, gas range and oven, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. All three of these rooms open onto the terrace, furnished with two tables for 6, a separate lounging area for 6, two large sun umbrellas, as well as a barbecue, potted lemon and orange trees, and a small shed containing a washing machine. What can we say except, "Bellissimo!"

A door at the far end of the terrace opens onto a large queen bedroom with a love seat and loads of closets, a small dressing room, and an en suite bathroom with tub. A hall leads toward the rear of the apartment, where you'll find a twin bedroom (the beds cannot be joined), a hall bathroom with tub, and the third bedroom, featuring a queen bed, more closets, and an en suite bathroom with stall shower. Throughout, the stunning herringbone parquet floors, tall French doors and windows, high-quality linens, and myriad little touches all bestow a feeling of being in a real home, a place where you can truly experience what Italians mean when they say La Dolce Vita.
