Ifyou're an independent traveler with a day or even only part of a day to see the many wonders of Turin, a great way to get around is the classic red London-style double-decker bus. On its way through the city, it stops near every major site, including the Egyptian Museum, both royal palaces, the Cinema Museum, Parco Valentino and more. If you purchase your ticket online, you can board the bus at any of the 10 stops throughout the city. On board, your hostess will give you disposable earphones for an audio guide in six languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, and Russian). The bus route covers every neighborhood of the historic city; one ticket is valid for 24 hours, so you can get on and off as much as you want.
All buses are wheelchair accessible.
This service is available year-round, but in January and February, it is available on weekends only. Tickets become valid when you board the first bus. They cost 15 Euro/adult; 7.50 Euro/child 5-15 years old; accompanied children 0-4 years old ride free of charge.
