In Italy Online is owned and operated by Words in Pictures, Inc., acting as booking agents for the tour operators in Italy.

DEPOSIT: Non-refundable total payment is required to secure a booking. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking form and payment. No service can be confirmed until we receive your written confirmation by email or fax, along with your payment information. No deposit or payment is processed until your participation has been confirmed.

TOUR DOCUMENTS: Upon confirmation of the tour or service, In Italy Online will email or fax you a voucher and any necessary instructions you will need (how to find the meeting place, etc.). We also provide a local contact you can use in case of emergencies.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: All payments are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-applicable, so travel insurance is available at extra cost and is highly recommended. Click here for information.

CANCELLATIONS BY US: In the very unlikely event that the tour or service is canceled by the tour operators, Words in Pictures, Inc. will issue you a full refund of the net amount.

REFUNDS: There will be no refunds for any unused portion of the tour or service.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: It is the responsibility of each tour participant to obtain and carry a valid passport, visa(s), and any other documents required by applicable government regulations. Non US residents may require special travel documents. Check with your local embassy or consulate.

RESPONSIBILITY: You are responsible for reading all pre-trip materials and informing us of any medical or dietary restrictions. Words In Pictures, Inc. reserves the right to decline or withhold service to any person who, for physical or other reasons, is deemed unfit for the trip. Words In Pictures, Inc. is not responsible for cancellations or amendments due to acts of nature, civil unrest or inclement weather. Every care will be taken to respect your luggage at all times. However, Words In Pictures, Inc. is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of your personal belongings. Words in Pictures, Inc. and its representatives act only in the capacity of a booking agent of all land transportation, sightseeing, tour operators and hotels that provide services included in the specified tour. The individual tour or service participant agrees that Words in Pictures, Inc. and its representatives shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to any act of default of hotel, air/land transportation carrier, restaurant supplier or other contractor rendering or providing services. Words in Pictures, Inc. and its representatives shall not be responsible for any expense or liability resulting from labor disputes, war, acts of terrorism, government restraints, weather conditions, sickness, pilferage or any other cause beyond their control. Words in Pictures, Inc. and its representatives reserve the right to accept, or to retain or refuse any person as a participant of any tour or to cancel any program of a tour if circumstances so demand. Although it is extremely unlikely, Words in Pictures, Inc. and the tour operators reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason (including insufficient number of participants) or to change itineraries and/or substitute services or hotels of equal quality without prior notification.

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT RELEASE AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK

Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration of Words in Pictures, Inc. providing services to enable me to participate in one of the programs for which it acts as a booking agent, I agree as follows:

I fully understand and acknowledge that travel activities have: (a) inherent risks, dangers and hazards and such exists in my participation in activities purchased through Words in Pictures, Inc.; (b) my participation in such activities may result in injury or illness; (c) these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the owners, employees, officers or agents of Words in Pictures, Inc., the negligence of the participants, the negligence of others, accidents, breaches of contract, the forces of nature or other causes; and (d) by my participation in these activities, I hereby assume all risks and dangers and all responsibility for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other conduct of the owners, agents, officers, or employees of Words in Pictures, Inc., or by any other person.

I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Words in Pictures, Inc. and its agents, officers and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my participation in activities purchased through Words in Pictures, Inc.

The venue of any dispute between the parties that may arise out of this agreement or otherwise shall be the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, California.
